This website has been created and is operated by geneva-switzerland-on-line who acts as an intermediate between hotels / other partners in our website and users in order to provide our users with the possibility to search and book hotel accommodation online. Our service is based on information provided by hotels. Although we do our best to ensure that all information provided on this website is accurate, we cannot guarantee that all information is comprehensive and error-free nor can we be held responsible for interruptions or non-delivery of information.
The rates on our site are very competitive. All rates quoted in our website are per room for your entire stay, unless stated differently. Please check the room details to see what is included in the rate and what is not.
You must ensure that you have submitted the correct number of persons and the correct dates.
Your Contract
As soon as you have made your reservation for accommodation, you will be issued with a confirmation that the booking has been processed. We will then send you a confirmation e-mail. It is at this point that a binding contract comes into force and the accommodation provider is responsible to you to provide you with what you have booked for, subject to these booking conditions. It is therefore very important to check all the details when you receive it. The person making the booking, known as the 'leader group', accepts responsibility for all members of the group and he will be the person to whom we will send the e-mail to. It is also the 'leader group' that we will contact if any new information needs to be passed on or in case of any emergencies.
Room Allocation
After registration upon your arrival at the accommodation, you will be allocated a room. Please note that check-in time is usually after 14.00 hours and check-out time is usually 12 noon. Please bear this in mind when booking your flight, especially when travelling on night flights, e.g. if you are due to arrive at the airport during the early hours of the morning, you will be required to book your accommodation for the previous night if you wish to access your accommodation before 14.00 hours on your arrival date. Similarly, if you are departing the airport late in the evening or early in the morning, you will be required to check-out at 12 noon unless arrangements have been made for a late check-out (usually available at an additional fee, subject to availability - however, this must be organised locally upon your arrival).
All extras, such as mini-bar, telephone charges etc, must be paid for locally prior to your departure from the accommodation.
Special Requests
If you have any special requests such as infant cots, dietary requirements, room location, late check-out etc., please enter these details on the booking. but unfortunately we cannot guarantee that these requests will be met. If the accommodation provider is unable to meet such requests, neither we nor they can have any liability to you in this respect. Also we, or the accommodation provider, have no liability for providing extended stays, late check-outs, early check-ins or cancellations due to any changes in your flight times or in the rare event of your flight being cancelled altogether.
Privacy
geneva-switzerland-on-line uses high ethical standards and respects your privacy. We will not give your personal information to third parties that have no connection to your reservation under any circumstances. The personal data collected will be maintained and kept on electronic database. We need to collect information about you to process and fulfill your reservation. Please have a look at our privacy policy for further information.
Credit card guarantee
Hotels require credit card details in order to guarantee your reservation. Your credit card information will be sent directly to the reserved hotel. When you make a booking you will automatically enter into an agreement with the hotel you have chosen. We will not charge your credit card, as you will pay for your stay at the hotel.
Be assured that we take our responsibility regarding your credit card information very seriously. We use the industry standard "Secure Socket Layer (SSL)" technology to encrypt your credit card details. Please have a look at our Security for further information.
Free of charge
Our service is free of charge. Unlike many other parties, geneva-switzerland-on-line will not add any additional fees, like a reservation fee, to the room rate.
Cancellation
Please follow the instructions in the confirmation email in case you need to cancel your stay. If you cancel according to the cancellation policy of the hotel, it will be free of charge. We recommend you read the cancellation policy of the hotel carefully. If you cancel later than requested by the hotel or do not show up, the hotel might charge you a fee which is in most cases an equivalent for 1 night stay. For your information, geneva-switzerland-on-line will not charge you any cancellation fee whatsoever.
Complaints
If you have a valid complaint whilst you are staying at the accommodation you have booked, you MUST inform the accommodation management immediately, in order to give them the opportunity to resolve the problem.
